Throughout the summer of 2005 two pioneering Saskatchewan movies delighted audiences across the province in celebration of "100 Years of Heart":

Two Museums

Two Museums (dir. Lea Nakonechny, 53 min., 2005) is the first-ever theatrical documentary about contemporary life in rural Saskatchewan. This visually stunning film follows two prairie women through four seasons as they defend their choice to remain where others have left. Set against the enchanting landscape of the Great Southwest, this uplifting film captures the Saskatchewan experience like never before!

Saskatchewan Part 2: That's My Wonderful Town

Saskatchewan Part 2 (dir. Brian Stockton, 13 min., 2003) is an ode to the Queen City, past, present and future. Filmed in glorious 35mm scope, this charmingly funny short is Regina as it's never been seen before. Featuring appearances by Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, and gas pump jockey Dick Assman of Letterman fame.
