U.S. Premiere set for Slamdance 2008

Arid Sea is proud to announce that the Whole Day Through will continue its festival run with a U.S. Premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah! Click here to read the full press release.

Saskatchewan Premiere of the Whole Day Through at Festival 50 / 104

Screening Dates Announced for the Whole Day Through at TIFF '07

Today the Toronto International Film Festival officially unveiled its 2007 schedule of screenings. Arid Sea's latest, the Whole Day Through by Swift Current director Adam Budd, will screen twice at this year's festival as part of the Short Cuts Canada 1 program:

Friday, September 7 at 8:00 pm at the Royal Ontario Museum (World Premiere!)

Saturday September 8 at 4:45 pm at the Royal Ontario Museum

Both screenings are open to the public. Tickets may be purchased starting Wednesday, September 5th at the festival box office or online.

the Whole Day Through to premiere at 2007 Toronto International Film Festival

The latest from Arid Sea Films, a short drama by Southwest Saskatchewan filmmaker Adam Budd, will have its World Premiere this September at the Toronto International Film Festival.

the Whole Day Through takes place over one winter's day as a relationship, stable in appearance, is tested by the confession of a past indiscretion. As the landscape disappears with the setting sun, the couple moves inside a small cabin as they search for common ground.

Filmed in the Lac Pelletier hills in rural Southwest Saskatchewan, the Whole Day Through is the first cinematic offering from filmmaker and video artist Adam Budd. It stars young actors Melany Burant and Mark Budd, both making their big screen debuts.

the Whole Day Through was produced by Simon Nakonechny who also contributed the sound design. Award-winning filmmaker Lea Nakonechny (Two Museums) was Cinematographer, and renowned experimental filmmaker Jason Britski was picture editor.

The 32nd annual edition of the Toronto International Film Festival runs from September 6 -15, 2007. The festival's official website is www.torontointernationalfilmfestival.ca

SYNOPSIS

The Whole Day Through takes place over one winter's day as a relationship, stable in appearance, is tested by the confession of a past indiscretion. As the landscape disappears with the setting sun, the couple moves inside a small cabin as they search for common ground.
